Experience Kalmar's beautiful castle, dating from the 13th century from the water.
If you are a beginner, we recommend that you have company, as it can be difficult to find a suitable place to disembark if you happen to capsize.
From Kalmar kayak's jetty in Systraströmmen you paddle south. Pretty soon you see the castle tower appear in sight. You choose whether you round the castle clockwise or counterclockwise. You paddle around the castle in the old moat and pass under the Customs Bridge. Then turn north again.
